rash to Tarkovsky was established in the spring of 2018, when Nate—lifelong film addict (never “cinephile”, yuck) and partisan of all things peculiar—decided to throw down some thoughts on Rob Zombie’s bananas Halloween II (2009); you know, the one with the white horse and “Weird Al” Yankovic . . . The rest is, well, not quite history, but if the path to becoming a published writer has taught him anything, it is that comfort zones were made to be stepped out of.
Nate has written for esteemed outlets such as 88 Films and Fangoria. In his spare time, he can be found effusing on Twitter about some lost ’70s trashterpiece—or knee-deep in gialli, searching for inspo for his next bit of interior design.
